800+ Twi-shes, Unlimited Twi-cean

The most recent growth of twitter has been wild, to say the least. 10 days ago, twitter’s alexa ranking standed at 250, it stands at 47 as of this post. It has more than double the size within 2 weeks of time frame.

I think, without surprise:

Twitter will climb to top 20 in three months, that is bigger than Amazon in terms of traffic.
Twitter will climb to top 10 by the end of year, that is in par with big boys.

I did a quick study on just how many twitter apps are out there at the moment: 800+, that 800 fishes, or twishes patrolling the ocean, or twi-cean. Is it enough? Twitter now should have 5 to 7 million users. What do you think?
